Period Style Rooms

There are four period style rooms to choose from, each named after a previous resident of No. 1. Naturally spacious and with great big sash windows beckoning to views of the terrace/garden or the People's park, each room is furnished with a unique bed and equipped with powerful hairdryers (GHD straighteners available on request), fluffy bathrobes and luxury amenities.

Vanderkiste & Lord Barrington enjoy park views, roll top baths with dressing screens, while Lady Barrington & Pery enjoy terrace/garden views and hand crafted brass and gilt beds.

Please note that there is no elevator access to our period style rooms due to the fact that the building is a Grade 1 listed structure.

Club Rooms

15 Club rooms offer a more classic modern feel but each one is different and in keeping with the heritage feel of the hotel, each is named after an Irish Poet. Some overlook the garden and many overlook the red brick terraces of Georgian homes of Limerick. The bathrooms have great big monsoon shower heads, luxury amenities, lots of natural daylight, satellite TV and all mod cons.

Townhouse Suite

Located on the top floor of the hotel, our townhouse suite has sweeping views of the city and the mountains of Clare. The penthouse accommodation is generously spacious and includes its own bar and dining area with comfy sofas to relax on and a 42 inch flat screen on which to watch all the latest movies.
